Held at The Space The venue is found inside a converted chapel, complete with stained glass windows and raised clerestory roof, built in 1859 in conjunction with a local Presbyterian mission The fusion of its historic interest, atmospheric environment and elegant contemporary design make it one of Tower Hamlet and London's most important and unique buildings. Having recently celebrated our ten year anniversary, The Space is moving into a new exciting and dynamic stage of development as we strive to promote the potency of artistic exploration and innovation in our local and wider communities. We are a multi-arts centre that is extremely committed to providing a multitude of opportunities to performers of all kinds. Our intention is to reach out to new audiences whilst encouraging our current visitors to experience our diverse range of artistic possibilities. Our current program includes stand-up comedy, theatre and live performance, dance, band nights and cross-art collaborations and we are consistently looking for new methods to expand and diversify.
